A New Jersey woman wasn't too drunk to divert the police away from her crime

A New Jersey woman wasn’t too drunk to divert the police to a fake crime scene. Hayley Oates is a 25 year old woman who allegedly became a little too tipsy after a night out at the Grasshopper bar and grill.

After Oates recognized that driving after drinking could land her into the pokey, she decided to call the police and report a crime.

According to New Jersey.com, Oates told the police that a man driving a blue pickup truck was beating down a woman in a “parking lot.”

The police didn’t ask any questions. They jumped in their cruisers, blue-red sirens blaring, and tarried on down to the crime scene.

Once they arrived, however, they found a crime free scene. The crime scene was clean. The woman who was beat down and the man in the blue-pickup truck weren’t there.

The police could only scratch their little heads and wonder what was going on. Luckily for them, Oates went on to Facebook and explained the crime free scene.

Oates told everyone how she diverted the police to a fake crime scene in order to get out of a DUI for the night.

Or, as she said, “2 mins later the cop peals out..silly piggies tricks r for u.”  The police, however, got the last laugh. They got a copy of Oates’ post, found her, and then took her to a place where her treats will be for Big Shirley.
